I am so happy to introduce to you my fellow friend and business contact, Liane Fortino. She has recently joined the business of wedding coordination, and I couldn’t be more happy for her. Not only is she creative, fun, and original, she is meticulous and a perfectionist, all great qualities for a wedding coordinator. She is currently working on her website, and asked if I would do some headshots for her. I, of course, said yes.
I think when people think of headshots they automatically think of the eighties head shots. You know, the ones lit by a flash against a cheesy background which hey if that floats your boat, go on with your bad self. Me personally? I wanted to introduce a different kind of headshot, a more relaxed version of it. After all if you’re working in a creative field why not show a little bit of that creativity off? Show your personality and what makes you original! I asked Liane if she was down for ” a different kind of headshot”, and well the rest is gorgeous photo history.
We started out with some sassy photos:

I wanted to capture Liane’s personality:

I don’t know how she will ever choose a headshot for her business card:

It’s funny how one wall can provide so many different looks:

And probably my fave of the day:

Although this might be a close second:

And the green wall keeps on giving:

And my second fave of the day for sheer coolness:

There were a couple more shots I loved of Liane in front of that house:

Afterwards we found the perfect little picket fence:

And one last one for good luck:
Liane, I had an absolute blast shooting with you. You are just a wonderful model. I can’t wait to work with you soon, and hope that you enjoy your headshots. I can barely wait to see “Simple Details” come together.
